Three difficult SSC CGL level surd algebra problems are solved in a few steps using most of the surd algebra problem solving techniques in this 4th session of algebra solving in quick steps. The first problem is solved using double square root surd simplification technique and surd factoring technique. Standard surd comparison technique is applied to solve the second problem and to solve the large surd simplification third problem, two often ignored but important numerator simplification techniques are applied along with the general principle of selecting the more complex term to eliminate. With these approaches, all three problems can easily be solved in mind by an experienced problem solver. The concepts and methods should prove valuable additionally for SSC CGL Tier II, CAT or GMAT where algebra is a topic.
